About LDSOA Linda Dorsey School of the Arts (LDSOA) is a performing arts school for children. LDSOA uses the arts to foster the intellectual, emotional, character, and social development of children. The school offers training in dance, acting, singing, and performance for children 4 to 16 years old. More importantly, the school assists children with their personal development by helping to build confidence, develop self-esteem, and learn teamwork – attributes that are important no matter what a child decides to pursue in life. Our goal is to help children develop through the discipline, grace, and fun of the performing arts. LDSOA was founded in 1998 and produces an annual children's musical - This past year - The Jungle Book. LDSOA is sponsored by Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs. Linda Dorsey School of the Arts (LDSOA) is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.
